The Toyota bZ4X is a fully electrified compact crossover SUV that offers a change of pace from the normal gas-guzzling routine. There are two different engine options to choose from. A front-wheel drive model is equipped with a single electric motor that produces 201 horsepower and 194 pound-feet of torque, whereas the all-wheel drive model boasts two electric motors that combine to produce 215 horsepower and 248 pound-feet of torque.

The bZ4X allows you to adjust performance based on current conditions: standard drive modes include normal, eco, snow, and boost mode with regenerative braking. The all-wheel drive models also come with a special X-Mode that improves grip in difficult conditions.

The standard XLE trim with front-wheel drive has an EPA-estimated electric range of 252 miles on a single charge. The decision to opt for the front-wheel drive Limited trim drops the range slightly to 236 miles. The all-wheel drive XLE trim has a range of 228 miles, whereas the all-wheel drive version of the Limited travels up to 222 miles.
